HSWL 076

With the HSWL 076, RENK expands its portfolio into the 13–21 t weight class, strengthening its position as a global leader in military drivetrain technology. This development represents a major technological leap, enabling new vehicle platforms with greater mobility, enhanced operational readiness, and long-term modernization potential. RENK is sending a clear signal to the market, offering armed forces worldwide a sustainable and future-ready solution.
With a compact width of just 1.20 m, the transmission offers maximum design flexibility and space for protection systems, sensors, or additional modules. It reaches speeds speeds in excess of 80 km/h, delivers precise steering performance, and powerful braking capability. Certified to ECE R79 and ECE R13, it is road-approved and designed for extreme climates, especially in arctic conditions.

Its modular design and easily accessible service points significantly reduce maintenance times and operating expenses. Service intervals can be shortened, while integrated condition monitoring detects potential issues early and enables targeted repair actions. Initial test results enable targeted repair actions, which in turn allow substantial lifecycle cost savings.
The HSWL 076 is designed as a future-proof system: its electronic control architecture supports drive-by-wire, hybrid powertrains, and unmanned vehicle functions. The flexible power take-off interface enables the integration of additional drive modules such as electric motors. State-of-the-art digital interfaces and integrated condition monitoring ensure precise control, continuous status tracking, and predictive maintenance.
